| Field notes | Palm, around 50 pair of leaflets up to 60 cm. long evenly distributed on the rachis, leafplate2-3 m. long, petiole 1-1.5 m. long. Black thorns on leafbase. Uses: The palmheart is edible. In former times was the trunk split and used as inside floor. Name in Iban language: Nibong apai sali. |
