Field notes 30 cm. between the internodes. Leaves altogether around 1 m. with 25 leaf lets. Uses: Fiber used for tying and weaving of baskets. The shoot is edible. Medicinal, the shoot is eaten against diarrea. Name in Kelabit language: Wae Pait.
