| Field notes | " Woody liana with greyish-white bark some 7 cm. dia. from the canopy in 30-40 m. height. The crushed bark smells of peas. Uses: Medicinal against lice, the dried bark is pounded and rubbed into the hair, after 10 minuttes the hair is washed. Religious, before sowing the padi, it is sprinkled with soap water from akar Pakar followed by a prayer for the padi to be clean without insects, without diseases. At ""Gawai"" (harvest festival) pigs for offerings are washed with soap water from akar Pakar mixed with ""Ai Pau"" (dried, pounded seeds of Pangium edule mixed with water) before slaugtered.
