| Field notes | Palm, leaf plate about 3 m., petiole about 2 m., leaflets arranged in groups á 3-6 pair with approximately 20-30 cm. between the groups. The rachis is white. Uses: Ridan gives the best fibre for caulking boats. Name in Iban language: Ridan. |
