Field notes typical ginger. Red flowers. Very distinct anis-like smell from all parts of the plant. Uses: Edible shoot. Edible fruit. Dog repellant! if the floor is hit with Tepus Udoak, then the dogs will not pee there. Name in Iban language: Tepus Udoak.
