| Field notes | Tree some 20 m. tall. White latex. Heart wood dark to rosa. Bark of young trees (8-10 cm. dbh.) may be covered by a waxy white layer that is easily removed. Otherwise smooth grey bark with circular scars Uses: Timber tree for planks. Firewood. The latex was formerly used for making bird traps. Name in Kelabit language: Pulut Badan. |
