| Field notes | Tree some 45 m. tall. Yellow latex. If the leaves is pounded with lime the paste will stain the hands chocolate colored. Uses: Medicinal, against sleeplessness, the fruit is placed next to the pillow, the good smell will make the person sleep good. Edible fruit. Perfume, in the old days did the women set their hair around a ripe fruit that served as perfume. Name in Iban language: Buah Angkung = Bunut. |
