Field notes Fibrous woody liana. Uses: Fibre, for binding of constructions, for sholder straps for baskets etc. Religious, at Gawai is the ceremonial constructions always tied with fibre of Kemedu. The water from the liana is drinkable. Name in Iban language: Kemedu.
