Field notes Tree some 6 m. tall. Young leaves with beautiful nervation pattern in red and light green. Uses: Young leaves are edible. Fruits are edible after one nights soaking in water followed by 1-several hours of boiling. The wood is good as firewood. Name in Iban language: Kelampai.
