| Field notes | Herb to 1.2 m. Leaf patterned above with light green centrally, bordered by two dark green bands edged in white, the margin green; dark red-purple below. Pulvinus green tinged purple, petiole likewise, sheath dark green to purplish below. Bracts green turning purple in age. Ovary, sepals and corolla tube white. Corolla lobes light pink. Outer staminode, cucullate staminode and petaloid portion of callose staminode violet. Style white |
