| Field notes | In sand by sea but extending in abundance inland to Leona Vicario in chicle woods. Stems solitary, to 30' high. 1-3" in diameter, grey, smooth except for fibrous mass at top. Inflorescence yellow, fruit white, fleshy, ca. 7 mm in diameter when fresh. Inflorescence longer than leaves, these yellow-green, glossy, with prominent nerves. |
