| Field notes | Single-stemmed in specimens taken, sometimes suckering about base of mature stem, trunk smooth, yellowish, green, ringed, 2 in. thick, ca. 12-15 ft. high with elongate coma and no regular crownshaft. Leaves spreading, the pinnae not dropping, light green. Spadix spreading with white rachillae all around, on flower, pink in fruit, male flowers with exserted stamens. Fruit globose, blackish with ruminate endosperm, 8 mm. diam. |
