| Field notes | Stem 4-5 m, erect; lvs 9 separated by ca. 40 cm. Leaves pinnate, ca. 9 pinnae per side, pinnae grouped. Inflorescence in axils of upper leaves. Rachis ca. 1 m long; rachilla 8-9 to 30 cm long. Leaves with apical spiny cirrhus to 1 m. |
