| Field notes | Common in scattered population. Up to 6 m tall; collected individual with stem ca. 1.5 m tall, with many persistent leafbases scarred by fire. Crown of ca. 15 lvs; petiole to 60 cm with spines from reduced pinnae; blade 180 cm long with c. 70 pinnae per side in irregular arangement. Several infructescences; peduncular bract thin to 30 cm; peduncle 80 cm; rachis 7 cm; pinnae 17, to 15 cm long. |
