| Field notes | Adult palm with flowers and fruits. Stem 3.36 m long, 53 cm thick, covered by leaf bases; internodes < stem diameter. Leaves 10; leafsheath open; petiole 168 cm long, section margined; rachis 94-101 cm long; lamina palmate, flat, glabrous. Inflorescence/infructescence interfoliar; peduncle 44 cm long, 2.5 cm wide; rachis 126-167 cm long, 0.8-2.5 cm wide; rachillae 18-12 per rachis, 12-78 cm long, branched two times.
