| Field notes | Cespitose understory palm. Stem 83 cm tall, 0.7 cm in diameter; internodes 6.5 cm long, smooth, covered by old leaf sheaths. Leaves 7; leaf sheath 10 cm long, closed; petiole 16 cm long; rachis 23 cm long; lamina entire 14x40 cm, apex bifid. Sterile. HB transect no. 405, subunit 66. |
