| Field notes | Solitary understory palm. Acaulescent. Number of leaves 13; petiole 55 cm long, margined; rachis 560 cm long; lamina pinnate, pinnae per side 127, regularly inserted in one single plane, basal pinna 17 cm long, middle pinna 101 cm long, apical pinna 25 cm long. Inflorescence interfoliar; peduncular bract more than 84 cm long, woody, brown; peduncle more than 47 cm long, 1.9 cm wide; rachis 23 cm long, 1.7 cm wide; rachillae 38, 8-10 cm long. HB transect 389, outside subunit 53. |
