| Field notes | Solitary midstory palm. Stem 390 cm tall, 9 cm in diameter; base with cone of aprox. 20 roots, 30 cm long, 0.4 cm in diameter. Leaves 6; leaf sheath 90 cm long, closed, forming a 90 cm long crownshaft; petiole 54 cm long, rounded; rachis 220 cm long; lamina pinnate; number of pinnae 22 per side, regularly inserted, basal pinna 28 cm long; middle pinna 59 cm long, apical pinna 30 cm long. Inflorescence bud infrafoliar. HB transect no. 388, subunit 12. |
