| Field notes | Cespitose liana palm. Stem to 10 m long, 3 cm in diameter. Number of leaves 7; leaf sheath closed, 36 cm long; petiole 18 cm long; rachis 66 cm long; lamina pinnate; pinnae regularly inserted, in one single plane, basal pinna 26 cm long, middle pinna 19 cm long, apical pinna 13 cm long. Sheath, rachis and petiole with black spines. Sterile voucher. HB transect no. 362, subunit no. 13. |
