| Field notes | Cespitose tree. Stem 8m long, 9cm thick. Sheath 70cm, open; petiole 27cm, margined, green; rachis 255cm; lamina 280 x 160cm; pinnae 73 per side, basal 76cm, middel 88cm, apical 25cm. Inflorescence infrafoliar; peduncle 14cm long, 4cm thick, smooth; rachis 28cm long, 2.5cm thick, branched to first order; rachillae 80, 75cm long, 0.4 thick; flowers sessile. Transect HB358-SU55. |
