| Field notes | Acaulescent rosette-palm. Leaves 5 per rosette; sheath 14cm long, open; petiole 50cm, green; rachis 30cm; lamina 38 x 30cm; pinnae 6 per side, basal 16cm, middle 16cm, apical 16cm. Infloresence interfoliar; prophyll 8cm long; peduncular bract 15cm long, soft, brown, inserted at the base; peduncle 53cm long, 0.3cm thick, smooth; rachis 8cm long, 0.6cm thick, unbranched; flowers sunken.
