| Field notes | Cespitose, erect, understory palm. Stem 1m long, 1cm thick. Leaves 8 per stem; sheath 14cm, open; petiole 7cm, margined, green; rachis 55cm; lamina 64 x 20cm, entire, bifid. Peduncle 6cm long, 1cm thick; rachis 9cm long, 2cm thick, unbranched; flowers sunken. Transect HB353-SU33. |
