| Field notes | Understory, solitary palm. Stem 0.4m long, 4cm thick. Leaves 10 per stem; sheath 15cm, open; petiole 64cm, margined, green; rachis 68cm; lamina 79 x 40cm; pinnae 4 per side, basal 35cm, middle 30cm, apical 20cm. Inflorescence interfoliar; prophyll 10cm long; peduncular bract 23cm long, soft, brown; peduncle 63cm long, 0.5cm thick, smooth; rachis 17cm long, 1cm thick, unbranched; flowers sunken, white with reddish tinge. Transect HB352-SU50. |
