| Field notes | Cespitose understory palm. Stem 2m long, 1cm thick. Leaves 6 per stem; sheath 10cm, open; petiole 4cm, margined, green; rachis 46cm; lamina 53 x 15cm, entire, bifid. Inflorescence infrafoliar; prophyll 3cm long; peduncle 1cm long, 0.5cm thick; rachis 8cm long, 1cm, unbranched; flowers sunken. Transect HB351-SU81. |
