| Field notes | Cespitose understory palm. Stem 1.2m long, 1cm thick. Leaves 5 per stem; sheath 9(+)cm, closed; petiole 21cm, green; rachis 11cm; lamina 38 x 27cm, entire, bifid. Inflorescence infrafoliar; peduncular bract 12cm long, soft, brown; peduncle 6cm long, 0.3cm thick, smooth; rachis 4cm long, 0.2cm thick, unbranched; flowers sessile. Transect HB349-SU80. |
