| Field notes | Colonial, ascending palm. Stem 0.3m long, 0.3cm thick. Leaf-sheath 6cm, closed; petiole 10cm margined, green; rachis 7cm; lamina 21 x 13cm, entire. Inflorescence interfoliar; prophyll 3cm; peduncular bract 9cm long, soft, green, inserted at the base; peduncle 10cm long, 0.2cm thick, smooth; rachis 2cm long, branched to 1st order; rachillae 5, 5cm long, 0.1cm thick; flowers sessile.
