| Field notes | Acaulescent rosette-palm. Leaves 12 per stem; sheath 20cm, open; petiole 35cm margined, green; rachis 60cm; lamina 82 x 40cm; pinnae 3 per side, basal 29cm, middle 29cm, apical 28cm. Infructescence interfoliar; peduncular bract 30cm long, brown, inserted at the base; peduncle 35cm long, 0.5cm thick; rachis 35cm long, 0.7cm thick, unbranched; flowers sunken. Transect HB344-SU59. |
