| Field notes | Solitary understory palm. Stem 0.1m long, 1cm thick. Leaves 5 per stem; sheath 14cm, closed; petiole 18cm margined, green; rachis 36cm; lamina 54 x 30cm, entire. Infructescence interfoliar; peduncular bracts 3, 5.5cm long, soft, brown; peduncle 19cm long, 0.2cm thick, smooth; rachis 16cm long, 0.3cm thick, unbranched; fruits sessile. Transect HB344-SU25. |
