| Field notes | Erect understory palm. Roots 20, 10cm long, 0.5cm thick. Stem 0.9m long, 1cm thick. Leaves 9 per stem; sheath 10cm, open; petiole 20cm, margined, green; rachis 40cm; lamina 48 x 18cm, entire. Inflorescence interfoliar; prophyll 8cm long, inserted at the base; peduncle 6cm long, 1cm thick, wolly; rachis 16cm long, 1.8cm diam., unbranched; flowers sunken. Transect HB343-SU79. |
