| Field notes | Understory palm. Stem 0.9m long, 1cm thick. Leaves 9 per stem; sheath 5cm long, open; petiole 20cm, margined, green; rachis 28cm; lamina 35 x 14cm, entire. Inflorescence interfoliar; prophyll 7cm long, brown, inserted at the base; peduncle 3cm long, 0.3cm thick, smooth; rachis 6(+)cm long, 0.5cm, unbranched; flowers sunken. Transect HB343-SU05. |
