| Field notes | Acaulescent rosette palm. Leaves 14 per stem; sheath 25cm long, open; petiole 20cm, margined, green; rachis 66cm; lamina 98 x 48cm, entire. Inflorescence interfoliar; prophyll 9cm long; peduncular bract 46cm long, brown, inserted at the base; peduncle 119cm long, 0.5cm thick; rachis 27cm long, 1cm thick, unbranched; flowers sunken.
