| Field notes | Cespitose understory palm. Stem 1m long, 0.5cm thick. Leaves 8 per stem; sheath 9cm, closed; petiole 10cm, green; rachis 17cm; lamina 37 x 16cm, undivided. Inflorescence interfoliar; prophyll 10cm; peduncular bract 21cm long, soft, green, inserted at the base; peduncle 17cm long, 0.2cm thick, smooth; rachis 3cm long, branched to 1st order; rachillae 10, 8cm long, 0.1cm thick; flowers sessile, yellow. Transect HB340-wayin. |
