| Field notes | Acaulescent palm. Leaves 13 per stem; sheath 8cm, open; petiole 32cm, margined, green; rachis 38cm; lamina 54 x 30cm; pinnae 3 per side, basal 28cm, middle 25cm, apical 22cm. Inflorescence interfoliar; prophyll 8cm long; peduncular bract 23cm long, woody, brown, inserted at the base; peduncle 88cm long, 0.5cm thick, smooth; rachis 17cm long, unbranched.
