| Field notes | Acaulescent palm. Leaves 8 per stem; sheath 31cm, open; petiole 47cm, round, green; rachis 93cm; lamina 118 x 69cm; pinnae 13 per side, basal 46cm, middle 51cm, apical 34cm. Prophyll 7cm long; peduncle 11cm long, 0.6cm thick, smooth; rachis 5cm long, branched to 1st order; rachillae 15, 3cm long, 0.1cm thick. Transect HB335-SU37. |
