Leaf-sheath 30cm, open; petiole 95cm, round, green; spines 5cm long, black; rachis 70cm; lamina 93 x 35cm; pinnae 7 per side, basal 53cm, middle 47cm, apical 37cm. Prophyll 6cm; peduncular bract 25cm long, woody, spiny, brown, inserted at base; peduncle 12cm long, 0.5cm thick; rachis 5cm long, branched to 1st order; rachillae 14, 6cm long, 0.1cm thick; flowers sessile.
