Leaves 3 per stem; sheath 22cm, closed; petiole 30cm, green; rachis 35cm; lamina 50 x 40cm; pinnae 9 per side, hairy, basal 26cm, middle 20cm, apical 19cm. Inflorescence infrafoliar; prophyll 4cm; peduncular bract 10cm, woody, spiny, brown, inserted at the base; peduncle 7cm long, 4cm thick, smooth; rachis 0cm long, branched to 1st order; rachillae 2, 5cm long, 2cm thick; flowers sessile.
