| Field notes | Solitary understory palm. Stem 1m long, 5cm thick. Leaves 12 per stem; sheath 27cm, open; petiole 50cm, margined, green; rachis 103cm; lamina 125 x 33cm; pinnae 3 per side, apical 20cm. Inflorescence interfoliar; peduncular bract 35cm long, soft, brown; peduncle 120cm long, 0.8cm thick, smooth; rachis 33cm long, unbranched; flowers sunken. Transect HB332-SU20. |
