| Field notes | Stem 65cm long and 0.5cm thick with a smooth surface. Crown: 7 leaves, petioles rounded below and flat above. Leaves: sheath length 6cm, petiole length 4cm with spines on the surface, lamina length 17cm and 10cm wide. Leaves are bifid with spines at the leaf apex. 2 infructescences: peduncle bract length 5cm and 0.5cm wide (with spines on the surface), peduncle length 1cm, rachis length 2cm and unbranched. 2 duplicates. Found in subunit 036. |
