| Field notes | Stem 206cm long and 2cm thick with spines on the surface. Crown: 8 leaves, petioles round in cross-section. Leaves: sheath length 8cm, petiole length 44cm, lamina length 135cm and 58cm wide, these 3 features all have spines on the surface. Pinnae: 38, irregularly distributed. 1 infructescence (1 infructescence collected from another individual in the same subunit): peduncle bract length 14cm and 0.5cm wide (spines on the surface), peduncle length 12cm, rachis length 6cm and branched, rachillae length 4-5cm. 2 duplicates. Found in subunit 031. |
