| Field notes | Stem 114cm long and 0.5cm thick with a smooth surface. Crown: 5 leaves with a hairy surface, petioles round in cross-section. Leaves: sheath length 10cm with spines on the surface, petiole length 43cm with a hairy surface, lamina length 45cm and 26cm wide. Pinnae: 18, regularly distributed. 1 infructescence: peduncular bract length 7cm and 0.5cm wide with spines on the surface (woody), peduncle length 3cm, rachis length 4cm and branched, rachillae length 3-4cm. 2 duplicates. Found in subunit 055. |
