| Field notes | Stem 95cm long and 1cm thick with a surface covered in spines. Crown: 4 leaves, petioles round in cross-section. Leaves: sheath length 13cm, petiole length 66cm with spines on the surface, lamina length 83cm and 70cm wide. Pinnae: 42, regularly distributed. 1 infructescence: peduncular bract length 9cm and 3cm wide with small spines on the surface (woody), peduncle length 3cm, rachis length 5cm and branched (red fruits). 2 duplicates. Found in subunit 001 |
