Field notes Number of roots: 10, 116cm long and 4cm thick with spines on the surface. Stem 550cm long and 6cm thick with a smooth surface. Crown: 6 leaves, petioles round in cross-section. Leaves: sheath length 94cm, petiole length 14cm, lamina length 189cm and 120cm wide. Pinnae number: 24, regularly distributed. 2 inflorescences and 2 infructescences. Juvenile inflorescence: peduncular bract length 16cm and 14cm wide, peduncle bract length 33cm and 14cm wide (woody), peduncle length 12cm, rachis length 6cm and branched, rachillae length 28-30cm. Adult inflorescence: peduncular bract length 9cm and 8cm wide (woody), peduncle length 24cm, rachis length 46cm and branched, rachillae length 35-38cm. Infructescence: peduncle length 23cm, rachis length 7cm and branched, rachillae length 28-46cm. 3 duplicates. Found near subunit 001.
