| Field notes | Stem 54cm long and 2cm thick with spines on the surface. Crown: 12 leaves, petioles round in cross-section. Leaves: sheath length 23cm, petiole length 51cm, lamina length 71cm and 63cm wide. Pinnae: 10, irregularly distributed. 1 infructescence: peduncular bract length 21cm and 4cm wide (woody), peduncle length 19cm, rachis length 10cm and branched, rachillae length 6-8cm. Found near subunit 039. |
