| Field notes | Cespitose. 10 stems, 8-10 cm thick at base, 6 cm thick below crown. Lvs 7 per stem, spreading; sheath 70 cm long, ± open, fibrous at top, fibers surrounding the next leafsheath; petiole 100 cm; blade 300x140 cm, longest pinna 74x7 cm; 47 pinnae per side.
