| Field notes | Solitary. Stem 50 cm tall, 4 cm diam, with densely inserted leafscars. Leaves ca 10. Inflorescence erect, green with reddish tinge and white staminate flowers. Infructescence on the same plant, erect, with green peduncle, with orange rachis. Fruits black, staining alcohol dark purple. Flowering and fruiting rachises both in alcohol. |
