| Field notes | Stem ca. 120 cm long, creeping for 60 cm, erect for 60 cm, 4 cm diam, with densely inserted leafscaus, brown. Leaves 11, erect and spreading. Inflorescence interfoliar, peduncle erect, rachis unbranched bent to one side, buds red, flowers with white anthers, anthers 8-10. Insects visiting inflorescence in staminate preserved in alcohol. |
