| Field notes | Juvenile plant. Stem 50 cm tall, 3-4 cm thick. Lvs. 4-5. 2 m long. This species is the most abundant palm we saw along the trail during 4 days walking between "18 de Febrero" and Untsuants, it is most abundant at the lower parts of the trail, between 1000 m and 1400 m. |
