| Field notes | Stems solitary, 1.5 m tall, 1.5 cm diam, green. Lvs. 4, rachis 56 cm, pinnae 6 on each side. Immature fruits yellow on an orange infructescence. 1000-1700 m elevation. This species was never abundant, but we found it all the way along the trail during the 4 days walking between "18 de Febrero" and Untsuants. |
