| Field notes | Stem solitary, 1-2 m tall, 3 cm diam, brownish, lvs. ca 10, with many narrow pinnae. Inflorescence interfoliar, erect, yellowish green when young, turning purple in fruit. Common at 1500-1700 m (summit). |
