| Field notes | Caespitose, 7 stems, 3-4 m tall, 2 cm in diam, green, smooth, internodes 10-15 cm long. Leaves 7 per stem. Sheath 35 cm long, closed, green, smooth. Petiole 25 cm long, rounded below, flat above. Rachis 85 cm long, rounded below, flat above near the base, otherwise angled. Pinnae 3-4 per side, of uneven width with 10-7-8 or 11-7-8 primary nerves per pinnae. Inflorescence infrafoliar, light yellow at anthesis. No uses known, no vernancular name known. |
